Origins

With the same love, as your Ajji

The inspiration to make high-quality traditional Indian board games began with a handmade Pagade mat stitched by our grandmother. When friends wanted similar mats, we searched for good-quality options but found only thin, dull fabrics. This led us to try different materials and methods, and eventually, we chose art silk with computerized embroidery to ensure quality and scale. The result received enthusiastic feedback and high demand from friends and early customers.

Cultural Moorings

Learning by playing

As our community of gamers grew, parents expressed a need to help kids connect with Indian culture. While stories and videos are popular, we saw that games and puzzles could make a lasting impression on young minds. This led us to create fun, engaging, and educational puzzles and games that appeal to both kids and adults interested in Bharatiya traditions. Our puzzles, featuring topics like Vishnu's avatars, the Ramayana, and Devatas, include innovations like QR codes and have received positive feedback from parents worldwide.

Movement

Make everyone play

Over the years, we noticed that families who play our games together often grow closer and feel happier. These games not only bring families together but also help children develop important skills. Playing these traditional games sharpens kids' minds, helps them learn basic arithmetic more easily, improves their memory, and much more. Seeing these benefits, we are now on a mission to share these games with more people of all ages. We want everyone to enjoy and benefit from these games through our high-quality physical sets and our new digital platform at Tollugatti, where people can play anytime, anywhere.
