Chokkattan - சொக்கட்டன்

சொக்கட்டன், அல்லது பசிசி அல்லது பார்ச்சிசி, இந்தியாவின் ஒரு பிரபலமான பல்வேறு வரலாற்று கொண்டுள்ள போர்டு விளையாட்டு ஆகும். இந்த விளையாட்டு இந்து மதத்தின் புகழ்பெற்ற கவிஞர் மகாபாரதத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது மற்றும் இந்திய அரசர்களால் விளையாடப்பட்டது என்று நம்பப்படுகிறது.

இந்த விளையாட்டு ஒரு சதுர பிளேயின் மேல் நடக்கும், இதில் பிளேயருக்கோ நான்கு மான்கள் உள்ளன, அவற்றை துவக்க இடத்தில் இருந்து முடிவுக் கோட்டுக்கு செல்ல வைப்பது முக்கியம், மற்ற பிளேயர்களின் மான்களை அடைத்து தடுப்பது வேண்டும்.

Chokkattan, also known as Pachisi or Parcheesi, is a popular board game in India with a rich history. It is mentioned in the famous Hindu epic, the Mahabharata, and was believed to be played by Indian royalty.
